Mark E. Payne Jr.
Chief Executive Officer
Mark Payne Jr. is a Senior Entrepreneurial Executive with extensive experience in strategic business development, sales, operations management, and team leadership. He possesses leverage expertise in optimizing pre-attentive efficiency, increasing productivity, and exceeding target sales goals.

His “lead by example” management style with intuitive sales and market strategies maximizes efforts and boosts profits and productivity. His steadfast approach to keeping current on industry standards and market factors, successfully translates our Mission to meet the needs of our community.

As a graduate of The Ohio State University, majoring in Consumer Family Financial Services, his desire to help people started long before his college career. As a grade school scholar, he has participated in many different mentorship programs and public speaking engagements on the importance of education and finance. These engagements spanned from various schools, non for profits and numerous corporations.
​
A longtime member of the J. Ashburn Jr. Youth Center, Mark was the first ever to receive the Lawrence Funderburke Award along with many other community service awards. His over 14 years of experience in the corporate, non-profit and educational area has granted him the tools needed to be an effective leader and manifest the true mission and vision of WWMD.
Devyn A. Coleman
Chief Operating Officer
As a Certified Executive for Assisted Living, Devyn specializes in over 16 years of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Human Resources and Event Planning. Studying Business Administration, concentrating in Healthcare Management at DeVry University in addition to his corporate experience, has given him the experiences with accounting, fundraising, general administration, and city event planning (Grove City, Pickerington, Gahanna and Columbus).
Devyn has deep passion serving in his local church as an Ordained Minister. He assists in community service initiatives offering hands-on, logistics and administrative support. He has also served as an active finance, fundraising, and donations teams member.

He is a devoted and loving husband as well as a beautiful father to their 3 children.
Devyn believes our mission in life is to honor God by loving people. In doing so, we shine a light of hope to our family, friends, and community. Everything else will always work itself out.
Victoria Landrum
Chief Financial Officer
Victoria is a living example to the thought “Never forget where you came from”. She has spent her lifetime as a Hilltopper. In doing so she has served the Hilltop community as a longtime member and supporter of the J. Ashburn Youth Center, Westside Boys and Girls Club and the Westside Dolphins Football Organization.
She is a graduate of West High School- Columbus City Schools and possesses an Associate Degree in Data Processing/Computer Programming.
Along with serving her immediate community, she made a conscious decision to broaden her service to the City of Columbus. Now retired, her 34 years serving the City of Columbus Department of Technology gained her the neccasary tools to be successful in technology and community service. Ultimately, allowing her to merge the two effectively to meet the needs of the community.
Victoria’s community service extends to various organizations. She is involved as a Parent Consultant at West High School, 6 years Member of (NMA) National Management Association, (CTA) Certified Tourism Ambassador, Accredited Columbus Ambassador (ACA), Care Coalition Wisdom Committee, Mothers of Murder Columbus Children (MOMCC) and Story behind their eyes - Human Trafficking Awareness for Student Ambassadors.
She is a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church. Victoria is a dedicated mother to 3 boys and a doting grandmother to one grandson. Her educational and practical experience speaks life to our mission to serve the Hilltop community with a smile.

Logistics Team Leader
Mark E. Payne Sr. Father of Marcus M. Payne and Hilltop native, has devoted his life to service. From serving our country in the United States Army to serving as an employee of The City of Columbus for over 36 years.
Mark Sr. embodies the meaning to serve our community and abroad. His skill set encompasses leadership, problem solving, and “out the box” thinking methods.

Being the proud father of 9 children and grandfather to 7, the past 34 years has taught him the art of patience, creativity, support, assessing needs and more. All these traits personify the mission and vision of our foundation WWMD.
His now and forever goal is very simple; to aid his family and community into becoming the best they can be, all while keeping his Son Marcus’ name alive.
Sherod Payne
United States Navy Veteran
Research Team Leader
Sherod Lamar Payne, Brother of Marcus M Payne, born and raised on the westside of Columbus, OH and a proud West High School Alumni. Sherod is also a San Joaquin Valley College Graduate with a certification in Medical Billing and Coding.
As an honorably discharged United States Navy Veteran he continues to serve his country as a Military Contractor helping train United States Navy Pilots.
Marcus and Sherod always shared similar visions on wanting to not only better themselves but also to assist with the betterment of family, friends, and the Hilltop Community where they both grew up.
Sherod has lived in California since 2009 where he has continued to be an active member of society. Being a part of programs such as toys for tots, back to school shopping for kids, as well as countless acts of community service.
He believes in the mission of WWMD and summarizes it as keeping Marcus’ name and legacy alive while making the community a better place now and for future generations to come.
As a graduate of West High School, Maurice has mastered the art of interrelation in the Hilltop Area. His compassion for humanity has gained him access to build relationships with many leaders and residents of the Hilltop. He possesses over 12 years of community volunteer experience.

Maurice’s educational toolbox comprises a College Preparatory Degree from West High School, Continuing Education: Early Childhood Development & Education, Columbus State Community College, Web design/development, in addition to various on the job training programs.
His ability to understand generational diversity through social media platforms, along with his technical background allows our team to remain relevant and in touch with the many changes each platform presents.

He has a drive to help those in need and assist with promoting resources for our community through creative media expressions.
